Is Comcast going to start mirroring all of the Linux Distro’s for download within their network? Bit Torrent is not just being used for illegal downloads, more and more companies are embracing it’s powerful distribution technology for delivering products that would otherwise cost them an arm and a leg to host themselves.

I have heard similar comments from others on the subject, and I have no clue what they are going to do, to deal with this situation. I think it may in part be wrapped up in their cutting down on bandwidth usage. They are not doing it where I live, but I know they are in other areas of the country. They send customers a message saying they have been using too much bandwidth, and sometimes cut their service off temporarily as a result. I think it just sucks they have not warned their customers about any of their new policies, they just bring it up if it becomes an issue.
