Over the years I have written many notes, papers, stories, helpful hints, ideas, etc. Though I have burned and destroyed vast amounts of my earliest writing, I still have quite a collection. Here you will find bits and pieces of what remains.

From The Book of Remembering:

Consciousness

• Beware of the sleeping that desire not to awaken, for they will do all in their power to make you also sleep.
• Best to awaken others through participation; put the power of awakening in their own hands. This avoids guru syndrome, and inspires a greater sense of self responsibility in the awakened.
• One must unlearn most of what one has learned, to become truly conscious.

Undermining Behaviors

• Impatience is a dissatisfaction with the moment.Ask yourself when you are impatient, “Why is this moment and what I am doing in it, not as important as any other?”. Be fully in the moment, and impatience will cease to exist.
• Complaining is a fruitless behavior, that breeds nothing but misery in it’s wake.
• Shit is to help make your life grow, not be overwhelmed by.

Being Discrete

• Be the living expression of who and what you are, and you will have no reason to tout or flaunt it.
• Information one shouldn’t know, is best kept to one’s self. It is a power meant to be used, only when it is needed.
• People know you better for the things you do, not the things you say. Be sure to not speak, merely for the sake of filling empty air.
