An Awesome DIY Gift to Give Females

  • No Related Post

Not sure what to get your mother, girlfriend, wife, or mother in law? This is a gift they will cherish for years to come, and make you shine! Buy a semi thin blank book, or decorative notebook. Collect up old movie stubs, receipts, memento’s, doodles on scrap paper, and just little things you get from events and such. Use a good quality archival glue, and glue one of your items onto a page. At the top of the page, date it according to when the event took place. Write about what happened, how you felt about it, or little stories related to the event. If you do not have the materials on hand, work on the book over time, and you will have something ready by the holidays or the next birthday that comes along. These kind of gifts *really* impress a woman, and will greatly endear her to you.

Some of the materials I have used in my personal memento books include:

  • business cards
  • hospital bracelets
  • receipts
  • grocery/shopping lists
  • decorative stickers
  • invitations
  • movie and ticket stubs
  • birthday item request lists
  • old notes
  • newspaper/magazine clippings
  • photos

You can also use it to write messages to the person regarding your feelings about them, or what you thought about an event you went though together. Include a few non personal journal entries sharing your thoughts on various subjects. If you are a writer, include some of your stories or poems. If you have artistic abilities, do a few drawings. The most important thing is that you are sharing a real piece of yourself, and the women in your life will greatly appreciate that!

Wow, and I thought SHOES were the gift that never disappoints!

Well, in my case Marc it would be boots, but I have a fetish in that area. lol. I am not a typical female, I rarely collect up memento’s for myself, though I have a small collection for my family. However, I have seen how gifts like this make my mother and other women gush with delight.

Now, see? Who among us could POSSIBLY think such ideas would “lead us down a dark and dangerous road”?

;-)

BTW: I finally got around to reading your blog at http://www.lockergnome.com/nexus/shadowmyth/2007/06/30/nudity-and-dope-smokinga-public-experience. Nearly posted but didn’t know if anyone checked back so long after the last post (July 4th) or how relevant it might be at this point. I’ve been incensed by the plight of this poor kid Genarlow Wilson, who, at seventeen, was convicted of felony “child molestation” and sentenced to ten years for having consensual oral sex with his fifteen year-old girlfriend when: 1) the age of consent in that state is sixteen; 2) there are states in the Union where the age of consent is as young as fourteen; 3) “standard” intercourse would have resulted in a misdemeanor charge with no residual sex offender status; and, 4) “Scooter” Libby just had his 30-month sentence for a TREASONOUS ACT commuted by the president of the United States!

I guess this isn’t the right forum for this except to say: after ten years, think of the memorabilia Genarlow’s gonna have for his little scrap book!

Expensive hummer…

They say a man is willing to discuss anything with a woman, as long as it can be regarded as foreplay.

Steve: LOL, yeah I know, I am SO evil…why this very morning I roasted several babies and had them for breakfast, unfortunately they came out a little too crunchy.
The comments are not seen by as many people as time goes by, but I always see them. My main page is at http://www.lockergnome.com/nexus/shadowmyth/
That is very sad, regarding that unfortunate Wilson kid. When I was 15, I was going out with guys as old as 32. Funny thing was, the older ones respected me more. I was an emancipated minor though, and living in California. Back in the early 80’s, things were still a lot more free than they have become today.
John: LMAO!!!!
