Cooking Up Possible Web Content

This is an area of much debate? Sites like Digg and others have proven that there is no real clear line here to use as a guide. Personally, I think that it is something that folks have to figure out for themselves.

Writing the web content and copy is a vital part in developing the website and achieving success in web promotion. It is also the major means in getting a high ranking in many search engines. With excellent and unique web content and copy, visitors will regularly visit the website. And with high traffic, comes the much desired sales.

This is why writing web content and copy should be carefully and patiently planned and organized. There really is no room for sloppy work. And the first step in producing an effective and successful web content is the cooking up of ideas or topics that must go into the web. Fortunately, the web developer and writers need not be stumped in this stage. There are many ways to brainstorm possible web content. And here are some of them

* Focus on the likely activities of the target audience. For example, if the website is all about pet dogs and the target audience are pet dog owners, then their activities will include dog shows, dog trainings, visits to the vet, and other related activities. Based on these activities, the website must come up with the related web content, such as various dog breeds, illnesses of dogs, abilities of dogs, tips on training dogs, and even details of upcoming dog shows.
* Analyze the niche of the market that the website caters to. If the website is all about “oil painting”, the obvious target market are artists. But not always. Other groups of people will be attracted to the website, such as the art collectors and manufacturers of paint pigments and other painting paraphernalia. With various groups of mind, the coverage of web content becomes wider…. Source: The WebDev Buzz
