If you have been itching for a Writely invite, below is one place to check in with. While I do not have one myself, I wanted to make sure that those who are interested in such things have access to them.

At Google Blogoscoped Philipp has set up a comment thread on sharing Writely accounts. Writely uses an invitation system similar to Gmail and ever since the Google acquisition the demand for such accounts has skyrocketed.

So, feel free to drop by Google Blogoscoped and ask for a Writely account invitation or please post in the comments below if you are looking for a Writely accout or wish to distribute invitations.
