Seekz Launches a New Web Search Engine

After seeing Google’s success, when we hear about search engines being created as ‘college projects’ it pays to watch their progress…
A new search engine called Seekz Meta Search has been launched to the public. The powerful new service gathers results from several top web search engines and merges them into a single set. Pages from the same web site are grouped together and sites are ordered by relevance.
The search engine, located at www.seekz.com, is being developed as a university project, with the aim is to improve the relevance of search results and to increase the power of searching obscure terms. Currently in the alpha test phase, Seekz is calling on the public to try out the new service and give feedback. [Read the rest]
