Not too sure how advertisers on Google are going to take the recent changes made to the way they serve ads. Personally, I don’t think that adapting methods to follow Yahoo is really something that folks will consider to be an improvement.
Google Inc. is allowing advertisers to bid different prices for spots that appear on its search engine and those on other Web sites to give companies more control over ad placement and cost.
Advertisers previously paid a single price for ads on Google.com and those displayed on the pages of other Web sites, the company said Wednesday. [Read the rest]
