Internet Archive - Text Archive - This collection is free and open for everyone to use. Their goal in digitizing these texts and putting them online is to provide easy access to a rich and fascinating core collection of archival texts. By providing near-unrestricted access to these texts, they hope to encourage widespread use of texts in new contexts by people who might not have used them before. Currently included: 1) Canadian Libraries, 2) Million Book Project, 3) Children’s Library, 4) Project Gutenberg, 5) Arpanet, 6) Dance Manuals, 7) Internet Bookmobile, and 8) Open Source Books. This will be added to Academic Resources 2005 Internet MiniGuide.
