Avoid Dangerous Linking

Mitch wants to get ahead of the competition on Google
for the search term, ‘writer.’ Mitch should not link
with Web sites that share any characteristics with
link farms. The problem with link farms are that they
are set up only to develop a mass collection of links.
Most search engines look at these practices as spamming.
The result could be a rank penalty or index removal from the search engine
itself. The best practice is to avoid link farms at
any cost.
Search out Web sites that have similar themes as yours
and good ranking scores. Once you have found a few,
then request inbound links from the Web sites in
question. [Mitch Keeler]
