Hi. I’m Mike DiMichele.

I have been a weekly guest technology specialist on Steve and Johnnie’s Website Wednesday Night, a computer call in talk show, at WGN Radio in Chicago since October of 2000. The show hours are 11:15 PM until 3:00AM CST every Wednesday night.

Because of the popularity of the show, two years ago I created a website, www.savemybutt.com, to provide a place where listeners could go for help if they could not get through on the phone or we were unable to get to their email on the air.

I have been involved with the desktop computer industry since 1982, shortly after the first IBM PC came out. I have written software, installed and designed networks, and repaired computers for individuals and SOHO companies, watching the industry evolve to where it is today.

I hope to share some of my knowledge and experience with the guests who view my blog with the intent that you will learn something new from time to time.

As we say on the radio show, “We weren’t born knowing this stuff…”
