RSS Feeds Submit Might Not Be What it Seems

After publishing the review of RSS Feeds Submit yesterday, the vendor of RSS Submit stepped forward and provided some of his own commentary on their new competitor, which does put a different light on RSS Feeds Submit.

a] The first accusation against RSS Feeds Submit is that they copied much of the site content from RSS Submit mini-site, and also copied the logo from FeedForAll.com. Both companies are currently pursuing the legalities of this issue with the owner and his provider.

b] A much more serious issue, according to K.soft, the vendor of RSS Submit, is the possibility that 60% of RSS Feeds Submit submissions actually go to invalid URLs, while at the same time the software marks these submissions as “OK”, thus misleading the user.

K.soft also claims that, after performing a technical look at the competing software, they found that RSS Feeeds Submit data files only include 45 search engines and directories, instead of the 75 promised on the site.

While I have not yet had the time to verify this myself, especially as feed submissions take some time before going live, I do have to say that I’ve had only great experiences with K.soft and RSS Submit and do put much trust in them.

But of course, we always need to hear both sides of the story, so I am inviting the makers of RSS Feeds Submit to publish their take on this in the comments below.
