The Gartner Group More Hopeful About RSS Than Jupiter Research

Business 2.0 reports that RSS is moving from blogs to the Fortune 500 companies, for both external and internal communication.

Just two examples given include alerting systems administrators when a server goes down or sending lists of recent credit card purchases to a customer’s Treo.

Even more interesting, a Gartner Group analyst predicts that “RSS will be adapted by corporations really fast“.

Quite a contrast to Jupiter Research’s report just a little time ago …
