I have been waiting a long time for Halo 2, and now that it’s out, it looks to be an incredible game. I did not wait in line last night for the midnight release (I came very close though), but tens of thousands of people did.
How do I know that? Check out the Halo 2 home page. As I am writing this, there are almost 20,000 people playing Halo 2. There are nearly 92,000 unique players. All of those numbers are from the last few hours after the game was released. Looks like quite a few fans gave up a night of sleep.
So if you are like me, and will be playing Halo 2 well into the night tonight, remember that you can check your stats, your friend’s stats, and others using RSS. Here are the details from Major Nelson.
