Technorati Redesign

Sifry’s Alerts has details on the new Technorati site redesign.

The home page has been redesigned, the keyword search has been redone on the back end, and a developers contest has been announced. There are also some new features, still in beta, that look promising. One is a Top 20 MP3 list, and the other is a Top 20 Podcast feed.

I spent a few minutes checking out the new site, and it does seem to be much better. The site is definitely more responsive, and some of the features (like BookTalk) that seemed flaky in the past now work.
