MSDN No Longer Providing Full-Text Feeds

Recently, the MSDN blog section stopped providing full text in its feeds. On one hand, I am disappointed. I have found the MSDN feeds to be a great resource. Now it will be a hassle to read each article I find interesting in the browser.

On the other hand, I can understand the issues. Scoble give a good explanation of why MSDN turned off the full text.

Bandwidth usage was growing faster than MSDN’s ability to pay for, or keep up with, the bandwidth. Terrabytes of bandwidth were being used up by RSS.

If Microsoft is unable (or more likely unwilling) to pay for this problem associated with massive feed consumption, then how many other companies will? Scoble mentions that he knows of one major broadcaster that refuses to use RSS because of the bandwidth issue.

What Do You Think?
