There was a time when I used to spend a few minutes a day looking over a handful of Web pages for news and information. Then RSS came upon the scene. Suddenly I could get my information quicker and easier. No longer forced to suffer through slow loading Web pages, I could just click on those items that interested me - life was good. So good, in fact, that I decided I had time to look at more information so I added some feeds.
I now find that, instead of saving time, I’m spending significantly more time on the Web! If you haven’t been sucked into this addiction (it’s worse than crack, I tell you), run away now. Only use your browser to surf the Web, and if you see one of those funny orange XML block images - whatever you do - don’t click on it.
Trust me. You will be sorry if you do. [Tim Weaver]

I know I’m a few years too late, but “hear hear”!
RSS is a thief of time. Evil.
