Fearful of RSS Virus / Worms

“This has been a nightmare thought for me for a while now. I don’t know what new might come up tomorrow, but I am worried about viruses / worms that might enter our systems through RSS feeds or news aggregators. Technical guys and security experts, is this possible? I am sure anything is possible but how, in what format and when will this start happening. Is it any better if Antivirus companies start integrating their product with News aggregators or vice versa. I for sure will look forward to much more better security features integrated in upcoming versions of anti-virus softwares.”
