eBay is the latest large online commercial enterprise to jump on the RSS bandwagon.
Following the lead taken by Amazon.com and Yahoo eBay has finally decided that the time was ripe for joining the RSS fray early rather than late. The new eBay RSS feeds (2) are designed to shuttle general promotional announcements, special offers and system status messages to users.
“While the adoption of the XML-based technology by eBay will help push consumer adoption of RSS, industry watchers say the company should allow users to create customized RSS feeds.” (Source: Internetnews)
