NewsGator has finalized a major deal with Microsoft Outlook search tool X1 to complement its news aggregation capabilities with the phenomenal speed of X1 in searching through large amounts of email. The partnership leverages NewsGator’s Outlook-based RSS aggregation capabilities and provides users with a way to find any content in Outlook using X1’s cutting-edge search technology. Under the terms of this new agreement a free copy of NewsGator is given to all new X1 customers and existing NewsGator customers are offered a 30 percent discount on the purchase of X1.
