Jason set up set a bot to do RSS feeds off of his jabber server. You do not need a Jabber client to see it. All IM platforms can see it (Aim, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN) and Jabber of course. The Bot is:
Aim: newsorbitjabbe
ICQ: 278021536
Yahoo: news_orbit
MSN: News-Orbit at sweeney.ath.cx
Jabber: News-Orbit at oracle.sweeney.ath.cx
At the moment, Bot doesn’t like to answer on MSN, but they’re working on it.
