On August 12th Chris made mention of a weather forecast RSS feed that was found on Smart Mobs.com. He also made the statement; “This is an amazing idea, and I hope to see it mature quickly”.

Well folks, I think weather forecasting via RSS has just entered adulthood.

I am proud to introduce the most complete and timely weather reporting service to ever offer RSS feeds. It is appropriately named RSSWeather.com. This bad boy can report the weather from Ben-Gurion International Airport, Israel all the way to Cairns Army Air Field / Ozark, Alabama. The good people at the weather channel have nothing on this site, let me tell ya.

So how good is it? Well, you can receive updates hourly on current conditions and updated forecasts every five hours. It has become a regular part of my day to check the weather via Newsgator.

A friend suggested that I might consider actually going outside to see what the weather is like. Hmm, seems somewhat low-tech to me. I think I’ll read about the weather rather than subjecting myself to it in person. ;-).
