RSS and Brand Identity

I’m a big fan of brand identity - it represents fundamental value and a voice that speaks above the competition. Brand identity also helps companies mitigate market confusion and capture the hearts and minds of an audience.
So, why haven’t any RSS reader tools innovated in ways that promote and leverage brand and brand awareness? Isn’t it time for highly agile newsreaders that are programmable, skinable, and capable of delivering in-your-face brand awareness to make an appearance?
