Mobile Safari tweaks

It seems Apple has tweaked the mobile Safari interface a little in its latest seed to developers of the iPhone/iPod touch firmware 2.2

The picture shows that the Google search field has been moved from under the address bar and has been placed next to the address bar.

This slims down the address and search bars into one, which also has a similar layout and appearance in line with the desktop version of Safari.

I’m not confirming this will be in the final release of iPhone/iPod touch firmware 2.2, but I would certainly like to see it in there.
