Ever since i can remember I have been using Windows. As i live in the UK 90% of the education system uses Windows so was never really introduced to a apple computer until about a year ago when i first hit youtube. At the time vista had just hit the stores, And i did not want go through more pain after BETA testing Vista and giving lots of feed back to Microsoft i found lots of the little things bugs and what not had not been fixed and in some cases were worse, So after having vista on my main machine for about 6 days i had to go back to XP because Vista just did work for me. So after talking to some very helpful people online they said maybe its time to make “the switch” so after a few weeks of careful thought decided i would wait till OSX Leopard had hit the stores then i would get my first mac. I was not sure if I was going to cope with the change so i bought a base line mac mini and hooked it up to my Sharp Aquos 30 inch HD tv I also got the mighty mouse and apple keyboard and to be honest i find my self turning on my windows box less and less. I find the little mac does the same things as my Windows machines did and most of the time they do then better. The operating system has alot to do with the whole experience the way everything is integrated is amazing. If people are looking for something new and fun OSX is in my opinion the way to go i know it may not suite everyone but its always good to try new things.
