Google sucks

I’ve been doing a lot of re-search here lately on which search engine is the “best”. So far I found out that Google is far by the worst search engine I’ve ever used, and the thing is that I’ve been using it for the last 4 years. The problem with Google is that so many companies and little companies want their products to be on Google. So they go to extremities like if you type in “Pasta” you going to get WINDOWS OPTIMIZER - UPGRADE YOU SYSTEM READ BS BELOW!
I’m not kidding, you’ll get all this crap not even close to your subject. I started using Microsoft Live Search a couple of days ago, and I must admit. It’s twice as good as Google. It gives me accurate results, not off topic subjects, and English sites.
That’s another thing about Google. Why do they list soooo many dang non-English sites. Shouldn’t the Japanese have their own Google? They do! So why the frick am I getting Japanese sites? As far as other search engines go, Google I guess isn’t that bad. You compare Google to Ask.com, Google will win. Ask.com use to be great. They had that whole Ask Jeeves, thing. Brilliant. The company pissed it all away when they wanted to go “Mainstream” and appeal to the market. When they already were. I think it was more of competition with them. AltaVista, use to be my favorite. Then they got really sucky. They tried to look and feel like Google. I will admit they have a great Image search on AltaVista, It’s twice as good. They have pictures listed, by subjects. Which is brilliant.
I was using WebCrawler for the longest time. Then they went to be a Metasearch. Now they’re allright, but they’re no were near where they use to be. Now lets go to the old “most popular” search engine, Yahoo. Yahoo wasn’t always the worst search engine. They use to be just like Google. Well, I guess that was before any one knew the complete potential of a search engine. Now Yahoo is one of the biggest jokes on earth. It’s twice as worse as Google. Which that’s pretty bad. Type is Pasta, you won’t even get Pasta in your search, you’ll be directed to “who ever paid the most to get their site listed”. It’s sad but true.
So next time you search something, do yourself a favor and use Live Search.
