Are You Going To Hell? 23 Minutes In Hell Author Thinks You Are!

Bill Wiese is the author of the popular book ‘23 Minutes In Hell’ in which he describes his personal experience in having spent time in Hell. In his follow up book titled ‘Hell’ Bill Wiese makes some allegations and assumptions which you may or may not agree with. But first let me explain to you my views on Christianity and those who follow Christ.
I am a Christian and believe with all of my heart that Christ is our salavation and He alone is the only one who can gain us entry into Heaven. But Mr. Weise seems to feel that not only is Christ our salavation, but any other religions that do not believe in Christ will go to hell.
I respect all religions no matter what their beliefs. I cannot personally condemn those who have different beliefs. I believe that God is a righteous God, but also a caring God. If He/She were not caring, He/She would not have sent their Son to save us humans from our own sin.

Hi Chris
Merry Christmas! I agree with you about Christ one hundred percent, and on the topic of God sending any one to Hell… lets remember he is jealous for ALL to come to him, he wishes to not lose even one soul. I believe that Christ came to bring us real joy, real freedom and real peace, and He himself said he came to bless all of us not to condemn us. Sin is Sin…. there are no grades and Jesus said he left us a commandment to love God with all our heart mind and soul and our neighbor as ourselves.
Many thanks for leaving a place for us to post a comment on this issue and have a totally blessed and awesome Christmas.

I agree with your comments, and I will pose a question?
I have Mr.Weises’ book.
Questionable assumption……….
We have Christ as the center of vast religions, wouldn’t it be safe to consider that other religions have a deity they worsihip, if so, then perhaps that deity is “Christ” in just another name?

I quote:
“I am a Christian and believe with all of my heart that Christ is our salavation and He alone is the only one who can gain us entry into Heaven. But Mr. Weise seems to feel that not is only Christ our salavation, but any other religions that do not believe in Christ will go to hell.”
Friend, you might want to examine your logic. If you are a Christian and if you believe that salvation is in Christ alone, then it is logically required that all followers of other religions are lost and eternally doomed because only Christ can address and remedy the root of iniquity that is in all men.
Perhaps this position doesn’t make you feel good, but it is the gospel as taught by Jesus and the apostles. Jesus was very clear that He alone was the way to be reconciled to God. Without Him then, men are eternally condemned. Remember that while most people love John 3:16, they fail to read the rest of the chapter where Jesus asserts that He came because men were already condemned. He alone provides a rescue to that condemnation and if you are a Christian, then this is a basic, fundamental understanding.

The modern day version of hell and Satan started in 1425 by a man named Dante in a book called inferno. Prior to that Satan really did not exist. Hell is anytime you turn your back on God, and Hell is planet earth. Father God is all loving and allows us to come to down so we can learn and perfect ourselves. Father God will give you as many lives as you want, so that you can obtain what ever level of perfection you wish.
Christians do not follow the teachings of Christ which was all about love and kindness. Instead Christians follow the teachings of Paul so I think they should be called Paulitians instead.

I think that we should have faith in god and believe that he loves all of us no matter what. But on the religion thing i think that you have to be a christian in order to go to heaven and all the other religions are just one of the devils religion. because god said thy shall not have any other god before me or after.

Jesus spoke of Hell 167 times in the new testament, when people take Him out of context and say He taught all love is so wrong. He had rigtheous anger many times. One that really sticks out is when he used a whip to clear the temple of the money changers who were making a mockery of the sacrificial institution. From His own mouth, many on that day, referring to the day of judgment, will say Lord we prophesied in your name, cast out demons, etc and He said that He would say depart from me you worker of iniquity I never knew you. (Mat 7:21-23) In fact read all of chapter 7 of Mathew and take verse 1 in context please. We are called to make right judgments but not when we ourselves are practicing the same sin. The 1425 date given for Dante is so fallacious, when did Paul write? When was Jesus walking and teaching? Way before then. The ones who will be judged by God are the teachers and preachers who are telling people what they want to hear rather than what Jesus told us to say. (II Timothy 4: 2-4). The point of salvation is to escape Hell, not to have a great life. Because of salvation we then have the fruits of the spirit, they are eveidence of the indwelling of the Spirit. Using the fruits of the spirit to bring people to Jesus is so wrong, we have a Joy unspeakable because our name is written in the Lambs book of life. Happiness dies away, joy never will. Quit thinking that abundant life is your definition of it, seek Gods definition of it, and expect trials, tribulation, and persecution promised by Jesus, even hatred and death for His names sake.

If Hell did not exist, what would Christ have saved us from? Hell is clearly stated as a true place, for everyone. That was the place we go as consequence for sin. That’s why Jesus came. To deliver us from that. To not believe in Hell must be something that deeply saddens the Lord. Are we as Christians that nieve to believe there is no hell. Read the Bible. Just read it. Its clearly stated. I can’t believe this is somehting that has to be debated in the Church. Satan truly has tricked us. Hopefully we fix that quickly.

If you are a true born again christian then this is no debate there is Heaven and there is Hell. Why would God send his son to die for us if there was nothing to save us from and earth is not the Hell Jesus was talking about. For the plain fact that God said he would save us from Hell, Yet we are still here on earth. Therefore earth is not Hell, because if it was we wouldn’t be here. I am a servant to my father in Heaven. It tells you in the bible that Jesus is the way and the truth. Most other religions don’t believe in Jesus Christ, but it is clearly stated in the bible that YOU are saved by Grace through the BLOOD of JESUS. Jesus died to give us freedom and everlasting life, but only to those who accepts him as savior. So i believe if other religions do not believe in Jesus Christ as
their LORD and SAVIOR. Then yes they shall go to hell.(unless they repent and accept him in their lives as Lord and savior) No Man or Woman shall enter the gates of Heaven without knowing Gods only begotten son JESUS CHRIST.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
