What I don't get is how anyone can support either Obama or Clinton? With Clinton - she's just waiting for the chance to turn our soverenty over to the UN.

Obama is probably one of the most despicable candidates I have ever seen enter a race. The reason I feel this is that he has wholeheartedly embraced the Democratic position on Abortion and has carried it to the extreme. He has personally made statements that a parent should be allowed to terminate their childs life up to and including immediately after a birth.

He voted against the Child Born Alive act which would have required a doctor to help preserve the life of any child whom was supposed to have been aborted, but was lucky enough to survive. He voted no, saying that the doctor should still terminate the life of this child.

The whole Abortion thing really gets my goat. If the candidates do not care about life in the beginning - how do they really expect me to believe that they are going to care about my life at the end? They may cry that social security is in need of an overhaul and that their going to be the ones to do it (even though they constantly vote against doing any such thing) - but I believe that their idea of overhauling social security is to euthanize the elderly that are living on this as their only source of income.

Don't believe me? Look at how hard they fought (and distressingly succeeded) in having Terry Schiavo's life terminated several years ago.

When I start hearing a democratic candidate talking about life and the importance of life, then maybe I'll reconsider voting for them. But until then, they are the death squad on duty waiting to line us up for the gas chamber.
