ACLU Says Bill Violates Fourth Amendment

In a press release, Caroline Fredrickson, Director of the Washington Legislative Office of the American Civil Liberties Union, warned of a bill currently under consideration which would permanently legalize the wiretapping legislation - granting the President the ability to monitor international communications - which was enacted by Congress this past August.
“The Administration bill basically writes August’s mistake in stone,” she said. “It does nothing to protect Americans’ communications and violates the Fourth Amendment requirement that courts supervise any spying on American soil.”
“The current Administration bill is even worse than the ‘Protect America Act,’ though, in that it gives complete immunity to the telecoms which spied on us after 9/11. The Attorney General will be able to single-handedly kill any pending case – and then gag the judge from ever publicly discussing whether the company participated in the illegal program.”

SCREW the ultra-leftist ACLU! If another 9/11 can be prevented by monitoring e-mail, HAVE AT IT! I have NOTHING to hide from the government. I wonder if the same ACLU RECTUMS would feel the same if another preventable attack succeeded? WE ARE AT WAR and need to stop trying to WIN by tieing our hands behind our backs and fighting by Marquis of Queensbury rules when our opponents are street fighters who have no false compunction to fight fairly! WHATEVER IT TAKES TO WIN!

I have no problem with wiretapping international calls. The key word here is INTERNATIONAL. It’s not domestic wiretapping which will still require a judge’s authorization.
Do you really think the ACLU’s purpose is to safeguard your rights? It’s just a bunch of left-wing political hacks who are the wrong side of the fence on almost every issue. They choose to defend murderers, abortionists, pornographers, drug dealers, and most recently, terrorists.
Here’s a newsflash for the ACLU, you don’t have any rights if you’re dead.

PERSONAL SUMMATION OF THE REALITY
It’s truly a sad state of affairs when clueless liberals posing as “True Americans”, who are constituently incapable of discerning between National Security {The protection of their lives, their families lives and all the rest of Americas Citizens; whose reality level is sub-par and above thus giving them the wisdom to understand their need for protection.} I thank God {YES GOD!!! Who has blessed America in spite of the unregenerate atheists, because He is good and sends rain on the just and the unjust alike} that I live in America where they have the “REAL FREEDOM” {thanks to our current leaders} to openly oppose those who possess the wisdom to provide them a safe America to show themselves fools in. It is ONLY those who are doing WRONG that have anything to fear by the content of their conversations, E-Mail transmissions… being made known to our National Security Branch. I’ll go out on a limb here and challenge you to be honest with yourself; would it make one bit of difference if every communication you have EVER made in your entire life was reviewed by our National Security Branch. NUFF SAID!!! FTH

Why is the ACLU working so feverishly to eliminate any public celebration of Christmas? Why have they worked so hard to take any mention whatsoever of spirituality out of the schools? Why have they brought so many legal challenges that have the effect of breaking down the traditional values of American society? Does anyone except the ACLU actually want these things to be done?
