With the heated debates from all sides in this most recent election, I believe that now would be a good time for the majority of American citizens to re-familiarize themselves with the Constitution. My personal recommendation would be for those who are interested in further educating themselves on their rights and freedoms to either watch or personally attend Michael Badnarik’s Constitution class.

Mr. Badnarik was the Libertarian Party candidate for President in the 2004 election. He was on the ballot in 48 states and the District of Columbia. Prior to running for office, he travelled the United States offering an 8 hour class on interpreting the meaning of the US Constituion.

Video of one of his classes can be found online thanks to the folks at Archive.org. Now that the election is over, Mr. Badnarik is going to begin taking his classes around the country once again. If you would like to possibly attend his classes in person, more information can be found at ConstitutionPreservation.org. The class schedule on the site is continually updated. If there is not currently a class scheduled for your area, keep checking back.

This is my first official article for Lockergnome, and I’m looking forward to many more. My goal is to bring more news of the 3rd parties and their candidates in order to let people know that there are more choices than just the two we’re force-fed here in the states.
