TV Chain Sacks Journalist Who Accused It Of Propaganda

Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative-owned chain of television stations which has provoked an uproar by its plans to broadcast incendiary allegations against John Kerry, has sacked its chief political correspondent for speaking out against the decision.

The Washington bureau chief, Jon Lieberman, said he had been dismissed for “telling the truth.” But Sinclair, which is owned by Republican backers, said he had been sacked for speaking to the press about “company business.” [Continued...]
