It’s a wonder it took Sony this long to finally come around. You would have thought they learned their lesson with Betamax.
Sony does u-turn for MP3 support is just another acknowledgement of how much MP3s have become part of our lives. While I still prefer CDs, digital music files are here to stay. There are better formats out there, but the MP3 is the choice of the masses. Guess Sony figured it was better to join them than fight them this time.
