Robots are amazing things. Flying robots are even cooler in my opinion. From a military perspective they could be invaluable, especially in an urban combat setting.
When I saw this headline, “Epson parades tea cup-sized flying robot,” I had to wonder about the implications. Being able to fly such a device into a hostile area so troops can know what to expect [would be a valuable asset to any army]. I’m sure such devices will get even smaller and harder to detect. Imagine entire swarms of these things going around? But it’s not only the military that would put them to use. I can just imagine the Paparazzi using these things to spy on celebrities. Or stalkers, private detectives, etc. the uses and abuses are endless.
