These softwares are some of the best that are out there and they are freeware or open source.

 ManyCam and Super Webcam is webcam software you use to put text, photos, clock or something else. you can use it when you are streaming live from for example ustream.tv . These softwares are free and you can download effects for them.

   Foxit reader is a good replacement for Adobe reader. Adobe reader is 80 Mb in size, but Foxit reader is only 2,50 Mb in size. so if you want to save some disk space use Foxit reader. If you want to create a pdf file you need to download PDFcreator. It installs as a printer, but it doesn’t print the text out on the printer you have. It just makes it in to a pdf. file so you can use it in Foxit reader. 

  CamStudio  is a open source recording software that records your desktop or an area of your desktop that you select. Don’t listen to other people that say that Hypercan and Camtasia Studio is better because it’s not and the reason for that is: you have to pay for them and you don’t have to do that with Camstudio. Camstudio records the video in to AVI or SWF so you can upload the video directly to Youtube. If you want to use it you should use it on an XP computer to get the best video and audio quality. You can run it on vista, but the audio quality is bad. Virtualdub is a video editor that is open source. You can edit your videos frame by frame and put filters over the parts you selected. 

There are many video and music players that you can download. Here is three free players:    

Win Amp  is the player that most people use. It’s a good video/music player, but it is a heavy software that take a lot of place on you computer. It has a lot of cool features like you can put all you music i to a library so you can find your music very easily, you can listen to different radio stations, watch TV shows and some other cool features. This is a free software, but you can buy it and you’ll get more stuff from Win Amp if you buy it.

Foobar 2000 is a simple music player that is free. If you don’t want a lot of features then this is the music player for you.

VLCis a player that is used as video player and it plays almost all the video codes. There are some things about VLC that makes it better that Realplayer or Windows media player and that is: VLC is Free, it plays all the video codes the Realplayer and Windows media player can play, you can show photos in it and it has radio and video stream.  

When surfing the internet in the past we have had many good internet browsers. The ones that that we have now are amazing like for example firefox, Opera and IE. But there is a better one Safari and you can use it on a PC not just a MAC now.

When you are at Apple.com go to downloads, click safari and download it. After the installation you start it and you’ll think this is carp because you think it’s slow, but it’s not the on thing you have to do to get it faster is:Go to search and type inn %appdata%. Then you click on apple computer folder and then the safari folder where you’ll find a file that have the name WebKitPreferences. You have to make it a .txt document so you can edit it. when you open the WebKitPreferences.txt doc you’ll see some thing like (version=”1.0″) in the text and you have to change it to (version”4.0″). If have done this right you should be surfing the web faster.There are many cool features on safari.Like there are no search bars form Google, yahoo or other thing that takes up place or is annoying. You will get a different web experience with safari so I recommend you to download safari and just try it. 

This is just amazing that Nintendo is doing this. They had a very good success with the Wii and now they are making a virtual world with games and don’t think of it as eye toy because it’s not. The only thing you need to go in to this world is a pair of glasses that detects your movement:“We aren’t talking anymore about moving the Wii-controller with our arms, but actually move to the side, jump, duck, shot and walk around in the virtual world.”With this Nintendo will be the only one to have a game platform that you have to use you more than just your hands to play. You have to use yo body to play so Nintendo will have player that aren’t lazy.

YouTube came with high quality a couple of weeks ago. YouTube have now three different qualities that people can choose what kind they want. They qualities they can choose between is: the normal quality that have a bit rate at 200 kbps, the mpeg4 that have a bit rate at 512 kbps and the HQ FLV that have a bit rate at 900 kbps.

When you are at YouTube just put &fmt=18 (MP4) or &fmt=6(HQ FLV) in the end of the URL to the video you are watching and hit enter. YouTube have made it like this because normally when you download a YouTube video you have to convert it in to MP4, AVI and so on, but now if you have put the MP4 code in the end of the video URL and you download it. You can put it directly in you IPod or IPhone.
