Please stop taking video of your television using a handheld camera. It is cheap and lazy. Also nobody likes to watch them. Learn how to hook your TV input to your computer and actually upload the real video if you’re that excited about that music session on Glee.

The reason they do this is because if they record it direct, a DMCA take down notice will be issued causing the video to be removed because it’s a direct copy of the original. If they do a camcorder video (as the **AAs suggest/prefer) it’s similar to a technical loophole and a take down notice will not work because it’s a video of a video and not the actual broadcast itself, if that makes sense.

Amen to that. We’re tired of seeing more refresh lines than video!
