My Letter to Courtney Love

Dear Courtney,

Why are you and the surviving members of Nirvana so pissy about Kurt Cobain being an unlockable character in Guitar Hero 5? I can understand how it might not look right to you when a grunge artist like him is in the game playing a Bon Jovi Song, but that’s not up to you to decide. See, when Kurt became an international celebrity back in the ’90s, he became a part of all of us. Remember us? The fans? Yeah, we’re the people that all that infinitely flowing money comes from. Anyway, you got paid for Kurt Cobain to be in the game. The publisher of Guitar Hero 5 paid you that money because they knew fans like us might want to pretend to be him since we are nowhere close to Kurt in musical talent. That’s what it’s about. The fans. If we want to play London Bridges as Kurt, we should be able to. Please crawl back in the hole from whence you came and let us have our fun.
