Is the PS2 Dead?

PS2 owners seem very upset that they can’t buy the new Beatles Rock Band for their beloved system. Even with the PS2 in so many homes, EA decided not to make a version of the game for the slowly dying system. Does this mark the end of the PS2? Will the Madden or Guitar Hero series finally leave the system as well?
I am tempted to sell all of my PS2 gear so that I can get the Wii version of RockBand 2. The main reason? Downloadable content. The PS2 is capable of downloading content, but developers seem to never choose to include the feature in their games these days.
All the games. All the memories. Is it all over? *sobs*

Now is the Autumn of its winter years. As soon as the games stop flowing, the fans are forced to move to other platforms. Playstations tend to outlive their rivals, but nothing lives forever unfortunately.

To tell you the truth, i don’t think the PS2 is really over yet, their are still quiet a few games being made for it………….this rock band 2 beatles kinda looks crappy, but that’s just my opinion, the ps2 is sony’s aging response to the nintendo wii, mostly because of the same format optical disc usage and graphics.
