Use Gmail Offline

After our experience with Gmail going down and leaving us email-less for hours, it might be a good idea to enable Gmail offline on your account. The feature will make local copies of the messages in your Gmail account so that you can access them when you don’t have Internet or when there is an outage.
- Login to your account.
- Click Settings > Labs and enable Offline. Be sure to click Save Changes afterwards.
- You will now have a link that says Offline. Use it to complete Gmail Offline setup.
