Lately I have been using my Netflix account to rent some of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 shows that I never got to see. The 2 I rented sat on my coffee table for about 2 months before I bothered to watch one of them. Now I can’t get enough of them. I am realizing that riffing movies never gets old. There are always tons of bad movies to make fun of. It’s also hilarious in that you can laugh at the movie along with what is being said about them.

So since my revelation, I am calling out to anybody reading this that has the power to put Mystery Science Theater 3000 back on the air. I miss the cute little robots and the sketches during the breaks. I know that you can see Mike Nelson and his crew riffing movies at RiffTrax, and I know Joel Hodgson is riffing over at Cinematic Titanic. But it’s nothing compared to the old MST3K. Thank god at least there are several seasons to enjoy on DVD.
