Karma Hits Best Buy: Swindled Out of $31 Million

Do you believe in karma? I do. Best Buy was swindled by a Deerfield, IL couple in a scheme where computer parts were ordered for a lower rate than they were billed. The couple ran a company called Chip Factory, and had a man working on the inside working for Best Buy that was responsible for purchasing parts. The employee would purchase the parts at a price larger than the bid price in exchange for kickbacks from the couple.
Looks like Best Buy got a taste of how they treat their customers. Perhaps it’s not right to wish this upon a company just because it has done so many people wrong in the past, but I have to admit that I get a bit of joy from it.

I know what you mean. My daughter returned a brand new computer she received as a gift with the receipt. They opened it and tore it apart -which took over and hour -before they agreed all the parts were there. Now they have an “open box” item and took a loss. Doesn’t that just break your heart?
