Circuit City Likely to Go Bankrupt Within 12 Months

Circuit City has been going down the tubes for years now. Now a bad economy makes bankruptcy almost certain for the failing electronics retailer. Read about it here.
There’s just something about Circuit City stores that isn’t friendly. Maybe it’s all the red. Maybe it’s the incompetent employees. Maybe it’s the fact that they never have what I’m looking for. Either way, this company is on it’s way out. If you’re planning any big purchases, I would stay clear of them regardless of the price offered.

The way they screw their customers, they deserve to go bust. Their prices are much higher than other stores (example, Canon Pixma MX700 printer is $179.99 at CC, but only $108.99 at New Egg). When I try to buy off their web site, the stores are almost always OUT OF STOCK! They fired the employees that knew their stuff, and replaced them with ones that do not know squat. And Firedog is a JOKE!

i work for circuit city. most people that think they know about computers walk in and try and boast about this and graphics card this and ram that… dude its a retail store not a frys… they bitch about vista and then i find out they have never even used it. complain complain complain, someone was screaming at me for like 15 minutes because their printer didnt come with the in store warranty for free. or when someone bought an open box sony and it didnt come with a remote even after we knocked off 200 dollars from it just to get them to be quiet. i work at the store because there is no other job i can get. i am a college student barely making ends meet. i know how to build computers and i know how to code in asp and css. so am i one of the employees that doesnt know squat? i dont know. but it seems like silver ghost is a twat.
