XM and Sirius Merger Complete: Now When Will I Be Able To Listen to Both Networks?

I am a proud owner of Sirius Satellite Radio. I love it, but it’s lacking one thing. I can’t listen to Major League Baseball. The games are available on XM. So with the XM and Sirius, I have been wondering when I will be able to listen to my favorite MLB games.
It looks like getting both networks is still a little complex. Sirius and XM both use totally different technology to broadcast their programming. The radios are not compatible on both networks yet. The satellites broadcast two entirely different signals. The company will need to run both networks like this for 15 years until their new satellite goes up.
I have the option of purchasing an XM compatible radio and using it, however, they don’t yet have a radio that can receive both networks. Reports have stated that the release of this radio is about a year away. Since I am not a fan of having 2 radios in my car, I guess I will wait it out along with many other consumers that are dying for more options and programming.

Seriously though, as a 3 year subscriber… I feel your pain. Stay tuned because I think someone is about to file an appeal to the merger before the deadline tonight!
