Please Stop Asking Me About the Weather

When working the computer support hotline, I am annoyed at the amount of people that ask me about the weather. I understand they are trying to be polite and make conversation, but what they don’t realize is that getting asked about the weather and having to repeat myself over and over again gets annoying.
So if you find yourself asking about the weather whenever you call customer service, tech support or your banker, just stop yourself. Talk about the Chicago Cubs or something. What’s so interesting about weather anyway?
