Dell Customer Service Not So Great After All

It looks like Dell isn’t so “award winning” with customer service after all. A judge in New York has found the computer giant guilty of consumer fraud in relation to loans it offered customers that started at 0% and ended up often exceeding 20%. The ruling also references the poor customer service the customers received, suffering long hold times and disconnections. Dell also seems to follow the strategy best used by Best Buy where they failed to supply rebates to customers as promised in their ads.
I guess that’s what really happens when you go cheap and outsource overseas. The ruling will no doubt be appealed, so we haven’t heard the last of this story. Read more about it here.
