With all of the success seen with the iPad here in North America, it makes sense that getting the device into the booming tech economy South Korea as well. Considering the country embracing broadband at speeds that make most of us cry with envy, it should come as no real shock that the iPad is being sought after in this growing nation.

What I believe will be most interesting, is seeing first hand exactly how South Korea embraces the tablet considering how high-tech they are and how resistant the Asian markets have been to Apple products in comparison to the Western markets out there. I cannot recall where I found the last article on this, but countries like Japan were dead set against Apple until recently, likely due to the fact that there phones always “did more” from a very early point onward.

Fast forward into now, I am willing to bet that the iPad is generally unmatched even when held against the Android options already out there. With the all of the functionality that comes with this Apple device, I suspect that once South Korea receives access to the iPad, we are going to see a lot of press coming from that part of the world both in support and against, this Apple product. Should be interesting.
