Google AdMob Deal Still Reviewing The Deal
Great news for Google, as it will mean their AdMob deal is not completely dead in the water as of yet. The FTC has opted for a two extension to allow the agency to continue their examination into whether or not there are anti-trust issues at hand here.
At the same time, Apple is still under heavy investigation as to whether or not their own mobile ad policies, are creating unfair competition as well.
Clearly both companies are in sync to compete in a relatively new mobile market. Should be interesting to see if the FCC will be standing in their way or not. Fact of the matter is no matter if Google or Apple are allowed to continue, we’ll see a monopoly either way.
