The $1000 iPhone App
Imagine for a second, one single application on the iPhone’s app store for a solid grand USD. Yes, there have been other applications in the Apple app store that have cost this much money, but this might be the first one that could actually warrant such a cost.
Described as an application to help with would be attorneys pass their bar exam, it is available for sale at a cool $999. Despite what some critics have exclaimed, it is a very well rounded application that provides all of the assistance tools needed to law students looking to pass the bar when it comes time. So I suppose to a select audience with more money than sense, this is a great fit.
But there is something difficult for non-enterprise users to get their minds around here. Spending about a grand on something that is not really a tangible item, is not something most of us who work for a living can really get our heads around. Personally, I am thinking that a fully loaded netbook with all the resources of the Internet, would do just as well.
