Obviously not the kind news anyone wants to really hear. But it sounds like we are seeing evidence of Windows 7 beating out OS X for overall market share according to this article.

But with all being fair in love and war, I do believe that the iPhone destroyed Windows Mobile in the mobile sector. Could be wrong on this one, but I am fairly confident that Windows Mobile 7 is not going to pull Microsoft out of this fire.

In exchange, it looks like Windows has won this round. Sad for Apple, but with their sales doing so well in the virtual marketplace of the app store, I don’t see them being too concerned.
