iPhoneless Verizon?

Not sure I totally agree here. Why would Verizon totally limit themselves to Android phones and not also include the iPhone into the mix? This makes little sense to me. Being that Verizon would likely still be able to attract plenty of people wanting to use the iPhone on their network.
But perhaps there is method to the madness. Maybe Verizon does not see the value of taking on the network saturation associated with the iPhone? While merely speculation, there is a certain logic to it.
So will the upcoming Android phones potentially create problems then? Perhaps, but not likely to see anything like we have seen with AT&T. Think about it, the iPhone saturates the network with sheer numbers and overall data usage. Clearly Verizon is wary of this.
