Foxconn Tapped To Make Apple Tablet

Imagine in the first quarter of 2010 when Foxconn finally begins to roll out the new Apple Tablet PCs. Sounds like something out of Science Fiction? Not based on what I am reading here.
Apparently the device is set to have a 10.6 inch display and will have a general feel of something like a tricked out Kindle. I on the other hand, believe they will have more in common with the iPhone than anything relating to the Kindle.
Now the downside. Despite Foxconn being tapped to begin making these little gems, I believe that we will likely end up seeing some shortages along the way. Speculation at this point, but if history has taught us anything, shortages should be expected with any new Apple launch of something this portable.

I just hope if they don’t force users to sign up with AT&T for WiFi. If so, at this point, with all the network problems they are having, it will be doomed.
