Palm Does A Palm Plant To Face Over Google Voice

There should be an image here!Sorry Palm, Google Voice is busy seeing other mobile products. Perhaps you can see if it’s less than attractive cousin, the existing carrier is interested instead? This might as well be what is happening as Palm tries to woo Google over to their way of thinking.

The problem is that Google is looking at giving no one phone a specific advantage over the other. So it would in theory, mean equal web access to WebOS, iPhone OS 3.x and Android…oh, and Windows Mobile as well.

Where it becomes unfortunate is that the iPhone already has visual voicemail with Apple likely not really seeing the value in Google Voice. Then we have the competition with Android, where I suspect WebOS is going to have their butts handed to them. At the end of the day, I am sorry to say that this is something Palm needed to offer on their own. Sadly, as usual lately, they are too late and they will have to share Google Voice with all.
